Rooftop on Bree is one of Cape Town’s premium event venues. Our space is available for hire for a huge variety of functions and is the perfect location to celebrate and enjoy – whatever the reason. We have hosted weddings, corporate functions, photo shoots, product launches, yoga sessions, birthday parties and year-end office functions. Whether you want to rent the space to throw a dinner banquet, or to celebrate your 50th, Rooftop on Bree is the ultimate starting point.

Situated on the rooftop of a commercial building in Bree Street, our venue has immense views of Cape Town’s city skyline and mountains. We are centrally located, and easily accessible for most of Cape Town. We have a large balcony for your guests to enjoy the sunset scenes, and a highlight of the venue is a retractable skylight roof. The roof opens at the click of a button, and the venue is instantly alive with daylight or lit up by the stars at night.

The space was previously a full-time daylight photography studio. We do still offer daylight photography and the space features a large infinity wall that can be used for photography. Natural light photography is possible with the roof open, and glass walls around the entire venue.

Our outdoor deck and balcony measure 150m² and our indoor covered space is 250m². The space has a gorgeous built-in bar, with intricate wooden details and fully stocked drinks and glassware. The bar at the venue is fully-functional and ready to serve your guests a variety of delicious drinks and cocktails. We also have a large back-of-house area that is suitable for kitchen and catering operations.

We have our own premium catering and furniture options suitable for weddings as well as cocktail parties and end of year functions.

This exclusive Cape Town venue can only be booked by appointment for private or corporate parties, launches, celebrations, or experiences… our venue is not usually open to the public. Rooftop on Bree is a function venue that will blow your mind – and we can’t wait to host you.
